The expansive learning curve of creating a heart-centred business

I wonder if the concept of the “learning curve” really does justice to this experience of building a heart-centred business.

I mean if you think about it, we’re always learning, so the curve never actually stops …. yet we never end up back exactly where we were before - we grow. There’s always some expansion.

So I reckon what we’re on is a learning spiral!

What a ride huh?! Always being and creating a work in progress.

Today I stopped to reflect and realised how far up the spiral I’d become. I celebrated on the inside because I did a thing. I arrived at a celebratory dance place on the spiral!

I dreamt it, collaborated, did the work, followed through … and TaDah!! I hit the publish button on something I’m very proud of and that has filled me with joy and expansion - the new podcast that I’ve been co-creating with this amazing woman, Trine Lehmann Hansen, my cohost.

It’s amazing because it’s all about this experience of being a work in progress, and what it takes, especially as compassionate, sensitive and neurodivergent women to follow this calling to make a difference doing what we care about, and enjoying the process … we’re living it, getting deep and real and having fun along the way.

We call our podcast Work In Progress because we are honouring this journey of exploring this big beautiful expanding learning curve of becoming visible, sharing our stories, and making new ones come true.
